Wide Fit Vegan Shoes & Boots For 2023

Finding wide or extra wide fitting shoes that are comfortable and stylish is hard enough. But finding vegan shoes and boots in wider fittings is almost impossible, right?

Well, not any more!

Here at DB Shoes we pride ourselves on designing footwear especially for people with wide, deep or problem feet that they can wear in total confidence that their styles are fashionable, whilst having the features that offer complete comfort from the first wear.

And people living a vegan lifestyle should not be excluded from this.

That’s why we’ve been working hard to create a range of wide and extra wide fitting shoes boots and slippers that are suitable for vegans.

We use a clever combination of textiles, animal product free stretch fabrics, faux leather and more, all held together with animal free stitching and glues, so you can be sure you’re making the conscious choice.

Having mentioned our beautiful autumn 2023 range of vegan-friendly boot styles with asymmetric toe shape, we’d be remiss not to start with those!

1. Mid-length lace-up boot Giselle is first up; with 21cm height and calf circumference up to 35cm. The laces ensure a secure fit but also superb adjustability to ensure the perfect fit for your calves.

And don’t worry, there’s a handy inside zip, meaning you only have to set the laces once and then use the zip for easy access!

The asymmetric toe shape follows the shape of your foot for a more comfortable fit. Perfect with patterned dresses or jeans.

2. Muntjac is another mid-length boot in imitation leather with built-in adjustability and easy access.

The three adjustable, cut-to-fit straps ensure you can get your perfect fit up top 35cm circumference and the inside zip opens right down to the sole for super easy access. The stylish 1 ½" heel adds height too.

3. Looking for a little less length? Zip entry ankle boots Deer not only looks great but it's functional too.

Twin zips mean this style opens up to the front for extra easy access, it has a flared sole for stability and the seam-free toe box mean it’s suitable for bunions and an extra comfortable wear – no rubbing!

4. Faux leather biker boot Atlas is packed with features! Rugged looking in red, brown or black with grippy rubber sole, it’s great for autumn strolls and wintry walks. It’s lace-up style with inside zip means it’s adjustable to your needs but, once the laces are set, you can simply use the inside zip for easy access. With round, deep, seam free toe box it is also diabetes, bunion and hammer-toe friendly!

5. Sporty ankle boot Wind is an easy care classic ankle boot in faux leather. With lace-up to the ankle they offer a secure, adjustable fit and with the air-bubble sole you’ll find them so comfy you won’t want to take them off.

6. Brand new Hi-top pump Dark is perfect for Autumn. Classic pump styling with soft collar for comfort, in soft faux leather with laces for adjustment it’s great for feet that swell. It’s also available in our 2V(EE-4E) and extra wide and deep 6V(6E-8E) variable width fittings.

What’s more, Dark comes on our Air Bubble sole, so you’ll feel like you’re walking on air, all day long!

7. Faux suede pump Houston has a snaffle trim attached to elastic, so it expands with your feet if they swell during the day. Being a slip on it is suitable for people with reduced hand motility such as people with arthritis, and is also bunion and hammer toe friendly!

8. We had difficulty deciding between snazzy Jazz or sporty Page but opted for double strap fastening shoe Page to show-off its adjustable, touch fastening cut-to fit-straps that are long enough for even the widest feet but can be cut to the length required for your feet. They’re also arthritis friendly and SO comfy!

9. Stretch style shoe Patience has clever panels that mould to the shape of your feet for the ultimate in comfort and reduced rubbing. In fact, Patience’s design is so versatile and clever that this style is suitable for diabetic arthritic vegans with extra wide feet, bunions and hammer toes who need to insert an orthotic and have one foot wider than the other! What a list.

Our House Shoes range is fully animal product free and also comprised fully of styles made with stretch materials, making it difficult to choose. If you’re not au fait with House Shoes, they offer the comfort of a slipper with the support of a shoe, and have hard-wearing soles so they can be worn indoors and out and about too.

12. Popular loafer style slipper Pitsford is super cute in polka dot with velour contrast trim and lining. Arthritis, bunion and hammer toe friendly they’re supportive, comfortable and look great.

Our men’s range includes vegan options across canvas styles, slippers and house shoes and, although our canvas styles aren’t part of our Autumn range, they’re still available and could be just the thing on drier days.

13. Canvas men's shoe Washington is a casual leisure shoe built on our super flexible bumper sole. The lace up design gives a secure fit and the seam free toebox gives extra comfort.

14. Men's house Shoe Desmond is a style that, like Cat, is styled such that it can be worn indoors and outdoors and is so comfy you won’t want to take it off. With breathable mesh stretch uppers and a seam-free toe box it’s SO comfy! Indeed, Desmond is bunion, arthritis and diabetes-friendly, as well as being great for feet that swell.

15. We’ve chosen men's slipper style Joseph to complete our top 10 wide fitting vegan shoes! It opens up really wide for easy access and the elasticated strap extends to fit if your foot swells during the day. The hidden shoe stiffener adds support and it is arthritis friendly. Perfect!
