I had a pair of these shoes a few years ago and they were great - lasted very well until, with constant wear, eventually the soles began to wear through. I bought another pair but am disappointed by the change to elasticated straps. I wear orthotics due to a neurological condition so my balance is poor and I find the elastic makes the shoes feel unsafe on my feet. I have now stitched up the elastic to make them feel safer! Surely there is no need for elastic - if your feel swell you can loosen the strap! Now I have altered them they are fine but this was, imho, an unnecessary change!

The"Hamilton" is of a soft velour,yet still feels full of support with a length of strap that sits comfortably without my having to utilise the elastic feature.
All in all?- a first class slipper/shoe that I feel gives me the comfort and support needed for my Oedema problem.

I was wearing oversized shoes because of my oedema, and they were still cutting into my feet. These shoes are perfect. I chose a house shoe, as I use a mobility scooter and don't do much walking outside, but they feel robust and hard wearing nevertheless.
I was a bit nervous about ordering them, as they cost more than any shoes I've bought before, but they were worth every penny and I shall certainly be getting another pair in the near future.

My dad thought the seams each side of his forefoot were narrowing the slipper and tight but this seemed to soften with wear and did not both him a day later.
We thought they may be a bit big (length size) but if the foot is well back in the slipper and the Velcro fastened all is well.
The extra wide opening is excellent when assistance is required to put the slippers on.
The design and Velcro length accommodate all the foot swelling and this is easy to adjust during the day.
The new slippers were so smart that dad was happy to go out in them rather than struggle to put on his current shoes. So we will be looking to buy wider shoes too.
We initially purchased the wrong size and the company exchange policy worked exacting as described.
The measuring guide that came in the first slipper box was very useful..... Perhaps I missed this on your website... Maybe it needs to be more obvious.

Excellent Slippers of the highest quality, very comfortable yet very supportive unlike many slippers. They have a substantial sole and heal so its no problem stepping outside and having a walk around the garden and with the good thickness sole it don't hurt if you walk on a stone. The two Velcro adjusters are excellent allowing the tongue to rise well forward so anyone with swollen feet they will fit you like a glove and give you the upmost comfort. This is the first pair of these slippers that I have purchased but they certainly won't be the last, I have no hesitation to highly recommend them if you want quality over quantity.

Josh, Ashton and Hamilton are the latest shoes I've purchased. In each case I have had to order size 10 to obtain close to the girth that my swollen feet need. This required girth is only available in size 11 so size 10 is a compromise. My size as measured on your chart is 9, so I am already one size up and do not want to increase the length to 11 because I can still trip so easily, in spite of wearing splints, which I need to hold my feet up. Your shoes are the closest I can find to what I need and are comfortable. I think I would be able to walk better if a smaller size had the girth. Perhaps that would be a manufacturing problem. Otherwise I am pleased to have found shoes that I can wear. Thank you.
