Shoes are great only one issue laces are a little short to allow for oversized foot not by much maybe 3 or 4 inches otherwise as in other purchases very happy. Having worked as an orthopaedic practitioner for 27 years I find that a lot of patients won't wear insoles provided because of fit inside shoe and also the appearance of hospital made shoes discourages wear. The extra width and depth and styling of your shoes rectify this.

These shoes are very comfortable. The problem I have experienced is with the design of the soles which collect a lot is small loose stones which can then scratch the wooden floors at home. The grooves are basically too wide which in my view is a design fault.

Using all 5 pairs of holes for the laces is not practical for my feet - it presses the tongue of the shoe and surrounding edges too hard against the main foot-raising tendon. I am only using 4 pairs of holes for the laces to allow the tongue and surrounding edges to splay outwards.

DB are such a good business, shown by their efficiency (especially when handling returns). I needed a greater depth to the shoe to fit the orthotics on my feet, so it was a great relief to be able to order a couple of probably suitable pairs and return the one which couldn't cope with the necessary depth required. The shoes I kept are really good, and comfortable. The VAT relief with an established medical condition was much appreciated too. This company was a pleasure to deal with.

I have walking difficulties and very wide fat feet and with a weak right ankle and inturning right foot, and I also need some ankle support. I chose a size 10 which is larger than the size 9 I would normally aim to buy in order to get the maximum width. My size 9 shoe does not have the required width so the laces do not meet over the tongue (leaving a small gap).
This shoe size 10 alows my feet to spread inside improving my stability and reducing my risk of falling. It is very comfortable on both feet and laced up the sides cover the sides of the tongue. The extra length does not seem to be a problem. I am very pleased ith these shoes..

It's the epitome of the perfect shoe, I always struggled finding good quality wide shoes but no more. This shoe is robust yet flexible, it looks amazing, smells amazing and it's soo comfortable, the sole is really nice and plush but firm. I've been wearing the shoes for quite some time now and they've retained their original look and feel but I do think the more you wear them the better they fit as it sort of molds to your foot which makes it even more comfortable. All in all good shoe very happy with my purchase.
