The Seb Nubuck training style shoe is the best I have had, it is lightweight and apparently well made. I have not owned these shoes for long but it's smart appearance means I am wearing them on a daily basis. I use an orthotic insert and the shoe is still spacious.

I was surprised that the measuring diagram in the brochure suggested a size smaller than I usually have so it was with a little trepidation that I ordered that size. After removing the high density foam insert I didn't know I’d got them on. Perfect. Having been in the management of shoe retailing in the past I know that when the quality leather stretches a little those inserts can go back in. They are well made and although I’ve not worn them a lot I feel they will give me excellent service. Highly recommended.

Though I'm over 70 I'd like to see a little more attractive fashion in the ranges, but these trainers are quite nice in reality. As a 6V fitting I need these special shoes, and these are perfectly comfortable, especially as the insoles offer options. I took out the double basic ones, and substituted my podiatrist-supplied ones. Most people would need 3 pairs covering the various uses, and I'd find it difficult without seeking out the discounted lines. Disappointed that the 10% voucher received for previous shoes wasn't valid on sale items. Most impressive part of my experience was how helpful, friendly and just plain nice the lady was in customer service when I telephoned to ask if you could delay despatch till I returned from holiday.

Possibly the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned but...the quality is poor. Within a matter of weeks, with only light use because of Covid, both shoes have worn through the inner lining at the back of the heel, so sadly they are no longer so comfortable. It's a real shame, but I can't recommend them because they are simply not built to last.

in 6V there is room for both orthotic and a carbon fibre sole stiffener to protect my arthritic toes. Loads of height and loads of width. In these I can wear 1 and a half sizes less than what I have to buy in high street. the sole of these is fairly stiff already - so these are the best of the wider fit range for me as a formal shoe - many of wider fit's other formal shoes have much softer soles which are less supportive.
glad they are now available in full black leather. the previous black design was a leather/suede combo which was ok but not ideal.
no comment on longevity or wear as I do not wear formal black shoes very often.

Great everyday cross trainer for informal activities. Very comfy straight away, I've worn them at sports events where they looked acceptable amongst the garish multi coloured trainers of the other spectators and I've worn them for socialising etc. Just a couple of personal gripes for DB to consider - the laces are far too fiddly and thin for my thick semi arthritic fingers so should be replaced by proper trainer laces and the 6V that I need are made up of inside volume rather than sole width so for those of us who have no general medical needs, just very wide feet, please make a more suitable shoe preferably with an insole that can stay put when wearing walking or gripper socks.

Cavernous toe depth, fully used as my extremely wide feet stretch the shoe sideways to its limit. Would have preferred a straighter toe design at the big toe, these shoes point inwards (like most shoes) towards the toe.
Also very wide at the heel area, I have very narrow ankles so I don't need it - but makes the shoes super easy to take off.
I use these shoes doing all my DIY/gardening etc. and the leather is coping with the wear pretty well.
Would have preferred to get an 8.5, shame they don't make half sizes in non formal shoes. 8 was just too short but the 9 is a bit long (301mm vs 293mm). Would be nice to see external shoe length measurements, I do mine using a set square and ruler with the shoe against the wall.
Each shoe weighs 442gm (size 9), I would like to see shoe weights put on the website also as I weigh all my shoes - lighter shoes I find much more comfortable.
I don't care too much about styling, these are just fine - much more important is how they fit. All day comfort on these is a four star.
I'm lucky you sell shoes like these, I would be in deep trouble otherwise, I now have 5 pairs of your 6V shoes and will no doubt buy more in future.
