15/11/24 I suffer from osteoarthritis in my right foot. This shoe is a great relief. The top is flexible and breathable and I elected for the wide fitting which is good. There is room for inserts to accommodate dropped arched. The wide opening and velcro fastener enables the shoe to be put on with ease. The sole may be a little on the heavy side but in use this is not so noticeable . It gives strenght to the shoe which is entirely suitable for outdoors as well as indoors.

The desmond house shoe is ideal for my elderly father who suffers with hammer toes and his mobility. Easy to put on with adjustable strap, a good amount of space for his toes and so comfortable to wear in the house all day. They have a lovely soft upper whilst giving the correct amount of support at the same time and a non-slip sole. Perfect!

My husband was in despair about not being able to find shoes to fit his very difficult feet - wide, large with corns and hammer toes. He had spent a fortune on shoes that proved to be , not just uncomfortable, but painful, to wear. Finding Desmond has been such a relief. The adjustable velcro fastening ensures they grip well, whilst the toe box is sufficiently wide and deep for comfort. The stretchy material is an added bonus and does not press on his hammer toes. These shoes have the comfort of slippers with the appearance s of an outdoor shoe. The lightness of the weight and the flexibility is a blessing compared with many shoes (including some of DB's which are very heavy and clumpy). Desmond shoes have, literally, changed his qlife for the better. Many thanks.

Purchases slippers, didn't arrive after 3 weeks ,I phoned and was told out of stock,and they would be back in beginning of April. Still didn’t arrive . Shouldn’t take payment or order unless they are in stock. Also lady I spoke to was very unpleasant,and shoes are not good enough quality for the price.
