I need wide shoes and relied on New Balance for a casual wide shoe. I decided to try the Istanbul and am extremely impressed. It is wide enough so I experience no discomfort. It is also very light and a pleasure to wear. I think it has a subdued style and dark colour so I feel entirely comfortable wearing the shoes on more formal occasions, not simply as a casual shoe. I really cannot be more effusive. I may purchase a second pair just to be careful it is not discontinued or unavailable for some reason. My highest recommendation!

I have very problematic feet and really need wide footwear with added depth; this model fulfilled my needs. Very well made, comfortable, and deep enough for hammer toes on my right foot. (I fitted a tailor made orthotic inlay) They grip well, and the soles do not slide in the wet. I was both relieved and delighted to find the DB outlet, as recommended by a podiatrist.

I am delighted that you are now offering shoes and boots of this type; for years - decades - I have struggled to find wide fitting shoes for walking / working / gardening etc. The fit is, as usual, fine for me. The shoes have performed well so far - but there has barely been a drop of rain since I received them! My only disappointment is that they are not available in plain leather. For hard use, suede and even nubuck rapidly become tatty looking and are harder to clean effectively than is plain leather; and while I don't much care about the look, they rely on surface spray to maintain proofing - and, I think, a membrane, but I have never known a membrane not develop leaks with hard wear. Leather shoes can be waterproofed by oiling and waxing, and while I will cheerfully do that to the nubuck, it is less easy to clean the surface for oiling. The nubuck anyway started to become smooth and shiny over the toes after a couple of weeks of wear.
The soles appear to be solid with a good tread - but again, have not yet been tested in slippery conditions.
Overall, a good solution for those of us with difficult feet and who need a robust work shoe.
