We had to think long and hard about this between new styles Belmont and Carrie but we decided, if you’re looking for that knockout, dress-to-impress boot this winter then look no further than Belmont: a sleek ankle boot in a choice of either black or navy extra-supple leather with patent ankle panel for the look of a fashion boot but wider, deeper and the ultimate in comfort!
Removable leather ‘Air Comfort’ padded insoles allow you to remove the insoles to insert your own orthotic insole, or simply to create extra depth if required.

Many of our boots are super-versatile and great for a range of activities, like our Smart Boots or Sporty Boots collections, where the styles are smart enough for heading out in, for walks in the woods and for anything in between.
So this was a pretty hard category to pick, but we’ve opted for new style Giselle! A stunning mid-length casual boot in vegan-friendly imitation leather with lace-up fastening for a secure fit and side zip for easy access. Set the laces once then use the zip for easy foot entry.
This style is one of 5 brand new for 2023 vegan-friendly boot styles in our new “asymmetric” toe shape.
Available in wide 2V(EE-4E) and extra wide 6V(6E-8E) variable width fittings Giselle is the perfect fit for even the widest feet in 2023.
Editor’s note: We simply can’t leave this section without mentioning Badger! A stylish leather ankle boot with twin pull back straps with D-ring that provide a more secure fastening as well as a striking look. And the extended strap can be cut-to-fit. The inside zip offers easy access; once the straps are set to desired fit, there’s no need to undo!

Knee length boot Chelmsford is a bit of a stunner in brown or black soft leather, but comes with features making it perfect for wide-feet.

Striking in burgundy or black leather with lace-up fastening for secure fit and zip for easy access, the ankle boot style provides extra support for active feet.
They open wide for easy foot entry, have removable insoles for insertion of orthotics and are great for feet that swell.

9. Best vegan wide-fitting boot:
We have been working hard over the past few years to create a range of wide-fitting shoes and boots that are free of animal products and so suitable for vegans. In addition to Giselle, mentioned above, new ankle boot Deer, as well as high-top pump Dark are just two such styles.
Deer is not only a stylish casual boot but, made with no animal products, it’s perfectly suitable for vegans too.
In addition to being vegan-friendly, Deer is also bunion friendly in our new asymmetric toe-shape – suitable for all foot shapes - and has twin zips open to the front for easy foot access.

10. Best wide-fitting boot for diabetes or bunions:
Many people with diabetes have reduced sensations in their feet and also can have difficulty healing wounds. Therefore, to avoid diabetes related foot health issues it is important to ensure sufficient room in the shoe and avoid rubbing against skin. This makes seam-free toe boxes a must, and soft materials are ideal.
For bunions, any rubbing is going to cause a lot of pain and so, whilst for different reasons, avoiding rubbing is so important.
We have many boots that fit these criteria, including some styles listed above, such as Nebraska, Bayeux and Santa, but the list doesn’t end there.
Reef is a popular lace-up boot style that is ideal for people with diabetes or suffering from bunions, as they come with seam free round toe-box that allows plenty of room for toes and, lace-up fastening to hold the foot securely and reduce rubbing and is made from breathable leather.
