These are the only items of footwear that mum can use now, however, she needs the addition of strap extenders. I have to purchase these from another company so they don't match but because of the wonders of Velcro, they do fit. They are sturdy, very well made and wash well.
The customer service at DB is excellent. I originally said I would pick up from store but due to circumstances could not. Gave them a call and they were popped in the post, no problem. I received them a few days later. I will alway purchase these from DB and highly recommend the slippers and DB Wider Fit shoes.

In the recent hot weather, I find my feet swell so much that I can't keep the straps fastened. What I should have done was choose a slipper with removable inner sole. I'm sure they will suit me well when it turns cooler & I have worked out how to extend the velcro straps.

This is a well made house shoe which is ideal for the warmer weather. It is heavier than a normal slipper. However, we had to stop wearing these as, due to an old injury, where the straps crossed they caused an irritation and subsequent blister. The 'good' foot was fine.

I recently had surgery to my foot, so have found it difficult to find wide-fitting soft shoes. These fit the bill. However, on the website it says they have removable insoles, although all the reviews said they didn't. I assumed they didn't so wasn't surprised, but I really need something to put my own insoles in. So I am not able to wear them for long periods, but they are comfortable for short periods. However it STIll says on the website and in the catalogue they have removable insoles!<br />

I was very disappointed with this purchase. 1. I emailed on 22 April to explain why I was unhappy about the shoes I had bought since I believed from your advertising that these shoes had removable insoles so that I could use those supplied by my podiatrist. I got an email back telling me that the shoes that you supply only had removable insoles with those that had enclosed toes (which I cannot wear). I questioned your advertising (my email copied below) to which I have had no reply. Dear Gill, Thank you for your reply. If this is the case, then why are the shoes advertised in your catalogue as having removable inner soles and why is there a label attached to them which states that they feature 'a removable sock which provides additional comfort by creating further depth'?? I can find nothing in your advertising which differentiates between the open toe and enclosed toe slippers in this regard and, as I find wearing slippers with enclosed toes very uncomfortable, feel rather let down. Lesley Clargo I really feel that you should be a great deal more careful about how you advertise your products. I have little choice with regard to the shoes I can wear and depend on companies like yours to help. I can wear your shoes for short periods because I have nothing else right now (which is why I have not sent them back) but I do feel that paying what for me is a lot of money for something which has not been what I expected it to be is quite hard. I await your response with interest.<br />

Very solid feel, suitable for outdoor use (occasionally). Snug fit round heel, adjustable straps good as one foot swells during the day and also need a soft splint on one toe of that foot. Without pop sock or tights the material feels slightly rough especially on damaged foot. Thought they were expensive compard to Padders but can see they willo last longer and are stronger around the foot - a slipper/shoe in my opinion.
