As soon as I put these boots on, I knew they were going to be good! They feel cosy and comfortable. I have a very wide but short foot (4E fitting in a size 3) and footwear from the High Street has always compressed my toes and given me sore feet and corns.
These boots are beautifully made, feel safe when I'm out and about and the pretty blue colour looks lovely with trousers or dresses and skirts. With the laces I can ensure a good fit over my high instep. Once that is set, I don't need to use the laces as the side zip means I can easily and quickly get the boots on and off. A good buy. Recommended.

Very comfortable shoes with a generous fit. I am a size 40 and a size 39 in the TAIPEI 2V shoes is very generous, even on my foot which was recently operated on and still swells over both the lower and upper metatarsal joints. The laces can also be adjusted tight enough on my good foot to make the shoe fit firmly enough. It has been great to have these shoes during this time when some of my old shoes would feel tight and some even impossible to get on until there is more movement in my toes again and until some of the swelling has gone. I can easily fit my rather thick insoles in the shoes too by removing the original insoles. Personally my bad foot would prefer a tiny bit more height under the heel, to make walking easier , but this is of course just my problem after breaking my leg ankle and foot and there is depth enough to fit a little heel raiser under the insole too. Thank you!

Sadly one of the zips was a bit awkward but I thought it would ease with use, but no! Now I have to keep them zipped and rely on lacing, which is a shame. Maybe I should ask for a refund, but they have been worn a few times now. Otherwise I am very pleased with the look and comfort of these boots. Star ratings affected badly by the zip failure.
