These boots are really comfortable when on, however, the problem for me is getting them on. I chose these boots due to the zip so it would be easier for my painful hand condition to put on but i found the zip is awfully stiff and very difficult to pull up. i hope in time it eases as i need help puting them on as i cant do laces and the zip is too stiff. Being independant is important so an easier zip would go a long way to maintaining indipendance. they are comfortable when on and help me maintain my balance. The overall fit was perfect a very comfortable she but my only challenge is the zip.

I regret buying these and would return them if it was not too late. Once I actually get them on and fastened they are comfortable. However as I have arthritis in knees and hips I struggle to get them on. I feel they would be so much improved by having the zips on the inside of the boot rather than the outside, or even better having two zips.
I also wish that you made shoes and boots with more of a square front as my first three toes are all the same length and I consequently have to squash them into footwear.
These comments are not a criticism of the workmanship. I am sure for some people the boots would be fine but there must be many others like me who struggle.

The zip creates a lovely big opening so my socks stay smooth and the laces give good support to my feet and ankles, adapting when they are a bit swollen. I love these shoes, I bought them in order to wear the orthotics which I recently had made. The idea that I can remove two insoles and put in my own is great. It also means that if the shoes stretch due to wear, then I can add one or more soles to make them fit tighter. The side zips together with laces are a great idea, I just use the zips to put them on and off and leave the laces tied\.
