This is the second pair of Glossop that I've bought, and I do think they are excellent - they look neat, not clumpy, soft leather, good fit, take an insole. This is the model I would always choose although I must say I do try and buy when they’re on offer!

I have Mortons Neuromas in both feet and it can be difficult in finding shoes that are not overpriced but sturdy to cope with this condition. These are well made and have been comfortable to wear during the first 2 weeks of using them. I have wide feet with exceptionally high instep/arch and high foot volume (but no swelling) - and need plenty of cushioning to absorb shock due to the instep increasing the pressure on the ball of my foot. The high depth/width of the 6V/8E fitting accommodates my feet with ease and doesn't look as though my feet are as wide or awkward as they are. I usually go up at least one size to squeeze into shoes, with these I considered going down a size as I am so unused to having enough room for my instep and toes!
In the past other shoe brands have caused cramps within minutes - yet I wear these all day in comfort.

I have a 'sticking-up 'hammer-toe' on my right foot, which the previous shoes were gentle on, with the deep toecap. Sadly, with these shoes, despite removing the insole, I don't find them as 'roomy' as previous shoes and, despite persevering , I dread putting them on because of constant pain, friction on my toe.

This is the fifth pair of DB shoes I have had - and the second of this particular style and colour. I have worn the first pair so frequently I purchased a second pair because I couldn't imagine life without them!
Foot problems mean I have to wear specially made insoles and I had been in great pain walking. My first pair of this design has been transformational - I can now walk comfortably again.
I thought I was going to have to live with wearing heavy, clunky shoes for the rest of my days, but I have also received several compliments on the look of these ones!
Only downside - the smart matching laces tend to wear out . . .

Not worn them yet as we are in lockdown fir now. Spacious and comfortable when I treid them on,and releaved the pressure on feet. The 2V that I have worn very happily for last ten years were begining to cause problems so looking forward to wearing this new pair. Cant rate them at present fir above reason but previous shoes 5 stars all round. Its been a relief to have had the comfort for my problem feet etc.
