I am hoping that the shoes become more comfortable with the passage of time. They are certainly a very sturdy and well presented item. I have been a customer of yours for many years now, but I have to say that I find it more difficult to secure a really comfortable fit.
Having said that, I do realize that I have very difficult and very wide feet. I do, however, find that the items I have purchased from you of late seem to slip about rather. I suppose I am choosing the wrong style, but I do not want to purchase really old fashioned looking styles - even though you may consider that they have now become more fashionable ! I would just say to you that I am 84 years old - but I would like to look as though I am not !!!

Having measured my mother's foot to learn of the size, size 7 it was, we ordered. However, we had ordered a size 8 previously. Neither size 8 nor 7 fitted my mother. Size 8 was big for her feet size but otherwise comfortable for a foot that has warts/corns on her toes. The back (hill) however would not sit properly in the shoe.
Size 7, on the other hand, was her foot size but for the warts/corns which made it desperately uncomfortable to wear.
We kept both. My mother has added bases to the size 8 to help wearing the shoes. I am using the size 7, I happen to need a pair as well. I am a size 8 also but fortunately without warts/corns. As it’s wide fit, it’s wearable.

I returned these shoes the day I received them (26/03) with proof of posting but as of yet my account has not been credited with the outstanding £57.50. I understand that times are very difficult and hope to see my money returned in the near future.
I was hopeful that with the higher tongue these shoes would be as successful as previous ones. But that is not the case, they slip off, and I am very disappointed. My feet are not swollen but your staff measured me as 6E right foot and 8E left. I have osteoarthritis with bunions and deformed toes.
