Second pair I have bought as black upper and soles go with so many things and they are very comfortable. Only negative is a bottom eyelet has come adrift and shows white lining. Previous review mentioned this as well. I can see how it happens as the fabric is softer and eyelet under pressure from tying laces. Tara canvas not so sturdy as say Banff canvas. Having said that they are a very useful, all black, light weight canvas pump.

I have several pairs of DB Wider fit shoes, and I have been really pleased with them. However, these casual canvas shoes look fabulous and feel comfy, but, the bottom two eyelets on the right side of the right shoe came away from the shoe the first time I laced them up. I'm really disappointed in the quality, as I now have two ragged holes on the top of the shoe.
I couldn’t return them as I specifically ordered them to go with an outfit for a certain occasion. There was no time to buy an alternative. They were bought a mere five weeks ago.

I am quite pleased with this pair of lightweight canvas shoes. The size I chose is correct for my feet, size 6, width 6E. I have slightly hammer toes and a bunion on one foot, and the 6E width is necessary for this. However I found I had to tie the laces with a double knot after the 3rd eyelet hole, and then pull the laces really tightly through the last two holes to stop the shoe slipping at the back. It works, but it isn't ideal.
Also, the denim colour rubs off a bit onto my socks.
Also, on one of the shoes, the stitching where the tongue is attached had a loose piece of fabric which pressed on the top of my foot, so I had to cut the loose bit off with scissors.

I was very pleased to be able to get a pair of white pumps for the summer although the 6v's are only just wide enough. It's a good thing they are canvas and so stretch fairly easily. However the double line of stitching across the foot does not stretch and is not so comfortable by the end of the day.
Rheumatoid arthritis has made my feet very wide, the joints are tender and the second toes have crossed over the big toes. i know the inner socks can be removed from the 6v shoes, but unfortunately i need the cushioning so this is not an option!
Summer footwear is a real problem because of the difficulty of finding cool, pretty, comfortable shoes - I wish Wider Fit could offer something in 8E - like the slip on 'Hedge'.

These shoes are extremely comfortable and well made. I wear an orthosis in one shoe, which it accommodates well, and an ankle brace which hooks into the lace holes, which are sturdy enough to take the strain without damage.
I've been wearing them for some time now and have recently purchased an additional two pairs. Having a matching dark sole makes them look neat and discreet And, of course, the dark sole doesn't show any road dust or marks!

I find that as the day goes on and my feet swell, the upper edges of them start to hurt my foot. I loosen the laces until I've put my feet up for while and the swelling reduces. The only reason that I only gave "fit " 4 stars is that my right foot has become so misshapen that it is impossible to be totally comfortable whatever I buy .But for that it would have been 5 stars. The shoe style looks good with summer clothes like shorts or crops and doesn't make the shoes feel out of place with casual wear. The fact that they are fabric makes them softer to wear for longer and didn't need breaking in.I liked the insole very much but sadly had to remove them for my orthotics. Not the fault of the shoe at all !

Unfortunately this pair of shoes is a disappointment. I tried them on hastily because I wanted to wear them that day and I expected them to be fine as I already have 2 other pairs of lace up canvas shoes which both fit perfectly and are very comfortable. This pair, however, seems to be a much tighter fit and if they are worn for more than 20 minutes they become exceedingly uncomfortable. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to wear them as I would have returned them had I realised how completely different from the previous 2 pairs they were. I would think they were a size too small if it hadn't said size 6 and 6v. As it is they are unwearable. Such a shame as all my other purchases from Wider Fit have been perfect and I normally rate this company very highly.

They don't seem wide enough over the foot when my feet are very swollen and the white laces accentuate the problem even more. It may help to change the laces, which I'll try as not to draw attention to my feet.
I will keep them though because they're comfortable and don't look bad when feet aren't too swollen.
I would only recommend if feet don't swell too much, although I appreciate that I have an exaggerated case.
The shoe is well made and is good value, however.

The day after I ordered these I dropped a brick on my foot , these are both soft and supportive and comfortable even with a very sore toe ! I have bought several pairs of footwear from you, have never been disappointed with the quality and on the rare need to return a pair , even that has been fast and easy. These are a lovely colour and brighten my day . I bought some sandals from you earlier this year and wore them to get married in . My shoe size is 3 but when I ordered these I thought they were slightly to small so changed them for a size 4. The size 4 fitted perfectly but with use they have now stretched and so are to big. I think in hindsight I should have stayed with the size 3.
I do love the shoe - comfortable, stylish and my orthotics fit perfectly. Also, this was the 1st time, I have used the return facility and it was excellent so efficient.

My fourth pair of Wider Fit canvas shoes so that maybe says it all. A variety of colours. SO comfortable in the warmer weather. I have Lymphoedema and my feet swell as the day progresses and sometimes leather can be a bit too hard. These are perfect. They will wash on a short wash in the machine ( or can be sponged).The white sole can be cleaned with a little cream kitchen cleaner. I shall be wearing mine in the winter too when the weather permits. If you take the insert out then you have room to wear socks. Thank you Wider Fit. Just delighted.

This was my first pair of 6E shoes and first purchase from Wider Fit. I measured as suggested and was surprised when it appeared that I should order size 4. I had previously been buying 5 or 6 shoes to get the width and was hesitant to order size 4. They arrived quickly and well packed. The shoes looked as in the pictures on the website and, to my surprise they fitted perfectly. They were so comfortable I wore them to go out the first day and they remain still extremely comfortable, and, because they fit so well, I can wear them without socks, too. I wore them in the rain and they got damp but dried very quickly and without staining. Certainly a valuable pair of shoes for difficult feet.
