I already have a number of different colours in this excellent shoe. So comfortable and works with many outfits. This one with the patent touches makes it feel dressier so very pleased to be able to get this one too.
Perfect shoe. I already had a pair of the same in another colour way and knew that they fitted so well, very comfortable, perfect design, so just had to buy another pair. I like the extra addition to the strap which for me is essential. I also approved that they are made in the UK.

Dislike the rather tacky 'fake antique' button on the strap - a self coloured leather one or nothing at all would have been much smarter. Don't think the straps have been cut correctly for the shape of the shoe; they gape at the ends when done up. no 7.5, so had to settle for the 7 in these, but able to adjust them to fit by removing insoles, so acceptable. Like the two tone colour - looks very smart in wear.
Oh these are lovely shoes which fit so perfectly I didn't want to take them off - I told my husband I might just sleep in them too! I love the extra addition of the strap extension which my swollen feet need. I love the colour mix and was very impressed and pleased to find that they are made in England. I have now received a second pair of the same in the blue and grey colour way which again are perfect.
The shoes are really good and good value for money. An extension for the strap is essential for me , I wish they supplied them with all their shoes as they have with these.

Bought as an all round winter shoe. Comfortable, well made, look good in patent. Hope to wear them going out, with trousers. Orthopedic insoles fit into the shoes.
Bought for my mother who has arthritic hands and hammer toe. Great that she has a comfortable quality shoe that she can easily get on with, and can amend the height of the shoe when podiatry apply any dressings. Good company to deal with.
I bought these shoes for my mother-in-law whose feet got very swollen due to her mobility issues, she is very pleased with them and shows them off to other residents in her care home.
The insoles of the shoe is low quality for the price iv paid. Iv had to get new insoles made by my podiatrist as it wasn't soft enough for my feet, also the tong of the shoe keeps riding up and creasing. Iv bought shoes from your company for many year as I have problem feet but I think the quality is on the low side now. I would have sent them back but iv worn them now.
It is well made but higher in the front than pictures show. Perhaps a picture of being worn would help. The flap allows easy access but the sewing forms a hard ridge on the top of the foot if you wear orthotics. This is uncomfortable at times.
I have tried softer options which are more comfortable but wear through at the toes too quickly.

A Podiarty appointment led me to your catalogue. The sizing guide I found initially confusing however I am very pleased with this purchase. I am a carer for my mum who has issues with swelling of her feet and hammer toe and needed a quality shoe that gave comfort, quick no fuss access with a variable platform if needed. You get what you pay for. Recommended.
After a lot of trial and pain, I've at last found a pair of shoes that are comfortable to wear. The shoes are easily accessible with velcro fastening. They also come with velcro extensions for when your feet are swollen and you need the extra velcro security.

As always another pair of comfortable shoes for someone with problem feet _ bunions, arthritis & hammer toes. Plenty of room with the extra width & depth & the two tone makes them more fashionable,
I need extra depth but not width, as I have slim feet and your narrowest size is too wide for me, but the depth still does not accommodate my hammer toes.
My shoes are excellent it's so long since I was able to find shoes that are so comfortable for my very wide feet. I was able to wear them straight away I have already ordered a different pair I am so pleased with these, wish I had found this firm a long while ago.
Good quality shoe, I have difficulty finding shoes as I need a deep shoe as my feet swell.
A good idea having layers of removable inner soles as my feet vary from day to day.
I have not had these shoes long enough to give a review on wear. but have had several pairs in the past that have performed well and lasted well. Staff very helpful over the phone as I could not get out to buy.
I am very much an in between size and wide feet so finding the right fit has always been a challenge. The quality of these are 5 star. The fit is good and adjustable around the width. Delivery is prompt.
Very pleased with this item, however I suffer with swollen feet and legs so find the fit isn't quite right. Trousers hide the gaps by the tongue shoe is comfortable to wear though. Just an awkward customer I'm afraid. Very pleased with the service.
I have been getting DB wide shoes for awhile now as I need wide shoes after operations on both my feet fit perfect & so comfortable & I can put in my special in soles too. I know expensive but worth paying to have good quality shoes that fit correctly.
These shoes are so comfortable to wear the only problem is the tongue where it meets the side it is not flat there is a bit of a raised bump so has rubbed a little
Good fitting leather shoes. Unfortunately I have to buy 2 pairs of each shoe & can only use one out of each pair as I wear a splint & need 1 size 6 & 1 size 8. This can be very expensive but it's what I gave to do.
Right shoe a bit short and had to remove insoles, but Size 5 much too long. I need Size 4 and a half. Will have to reconsider buying DB shoes. Will try shoe shop in Clitheroe. Thanks

The shoes are very nice unfortunately I have oedema which results in a swollen foot so the fit isn't so good on one foot after awhile. Short toes too so the bend isn't too good and it tends to ache a bit . I shall percievere. Sorry about spelling, I thank you for all the help though and wish you all the best, keep safe.
The fit was good, not excellent, on one foot but the rating is purely to reflect that one foot is a completely different shape to the other. And always present a problem.
This is the first time I've ordered shoes from you via telephone. In 2019 I came to your shop in Rushden and bought a pair of house shoes and a pair of sandals, so I knew my size. However, I checked on it again to see if I was still the same size, which I am. I am very, very pleased with these shoes. They are the most comfortable shoes I have had and well worthy of five stars. They are easy to put on and take off, which is now very important to me as I have great difficulty in bending down to tie lace-up shoes. The leather is very good and polishes up very well, not that they need polishing very often! The shoes are strong and yet light weight. I can wear them all day and still feel comfortable in them at the end of the day. I shall certainly be purchasing more shoes from you in the future. I like the style of this shoe and the quality of the leather. I ordered 2 sizes for fit (2V) and my regular (size 5) was fine. However I can confirm the previous comments of some earlier reviewers in that the heels of these shoes are very hard. I had only worn them for less than an hour when I had blisters on the back of my heels. I am hoping that with extra padding on the heels I will be able to wear them in; this has not been necessary with other shoes purchased from this company.

I was really pleased with these shoes. The soles made such a difference to my walking. I felt confident in them and I was walking from heel to toe instead of flat down. It also helped with my balancing another reason to praise the soles.

Due to severe oedema I have struggled to comfortably wear a pair of shoes for some time. This pair overcomes the problem and looks fashionable, so much so I have bought a second pair.
Brought the shoes for my Mother-in-law as she has very badly swollen feet and couldn`t get on any shoes, tried on all sorts of footware but nothing came close. Probably a little more expensive than she would usually pay but well worth it. Has since purchased some slippers.Well worth the money very good quality
Bought these shoes for my Mum to use over the autumn and winter seasons. The extra roomy size made all the difference for comfort of wear and the single strap fastening is so easy to use. Mum loves these shoes.
I found the fitting around the heel quite hard and still tends to rub against the flesh. In contrast , the fitting around the heel in « Healey » is much more comfortable.. I was very pleased with the prompt delivery of all the shoes I have tried
I am a new customer and have bought two pairs of your shoes. They are such a welcome find. This style fits well and the only criticism I have is that the tongue doesn't quite stay in place all the time but that is a fault of my very swollen right foot and not of the shoe design. Am very pleased with the shoes.

Very happy with purchase.These are the right size for me with the insole removed, and still comfortable without it. They are my first buy from DB Shoes.I now know that size 5 2v or wider is the correct size for me (inormally I take 5 1/2 or 6). I also ordered a pair of shoes labelled 5 1/2 from the site but they were not wide enough, so on a par with high street shoes. I haven't worn them for a long period of time yet so can't really comment on how the shoe is performing in wear. I bought them at a good sale price, so they are good value for money. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality, appearance, adjustablility and comfort of these shoes, and will buy more shoes from db that are 2v or more in future.

I bought this pair of shoes as a replacement for my pair of Healey which are nearly worn out. They have been so comfortable I hardly took them off all winter . I can see my new pair of Orlando are of equal quality, but I have not worn them yet. These shoes were not good as when l bent my foot the side of the tongue poked out and got caught, it then stuck out. I returned them for a refund, which l am still waiting for.
On-line order process and delivery are good. Products are for a handi-capped neighbour who is wheel-chair bound and she is delighted with her purchases ( cannot get to the shops when open in normal circumstances!)
Nice quality and enough width in the shoe and also sufficient height in the toe box which is rare to find. Unfortunately the seam on the inner side of each shoe rubbed my feet raw and I had to resort to compeed and 2 pairs of socks for two weeks until the shoes were worn in. I think this may be due to my feet being particularly tender and an awkward shape and may not affect other people. Now the shoes are worn in they are an excellent fit and very comfortable and I look forward to them lasting a long time
I like the style the wrap over keeps your feet dry and comfy in wet conditions. The interior needs a better finish around the the area where the staps are attached. I like the colour combination , they look very smart.
The shoes were just what I needed very comfortable unfortunately was a small fault with them I took a pic og it and they said without question they would send another pair or refund me I choose another pair as I liked them so much. Nice looking shoes. Although very wide fit, the join was just where my problem bunion was, hence I had to return the shoes as I did not want another ulcer! People with "problem" feet would appreciate a softer leather, I am sure. Also more choice of shoe that opens out, for easy access. PLEASE!!
Great style for mum and her second pair like this. However not quite wide enough this time due to foot swelling.great to have the extension tab but could you have made the actual tab longer anyway if even make an even wider shoe.

I have not actually worn these shoes outside and so am not really competent to speak about their performance. They certainly seemed OK and I am trusting that they will prove to be so.
These shoes provide good coverage and look smart. Good colour and excellent fit. Although I did not need the extended straps I felt they were a useful add on accessory.
These lovely shoes are absolutely ideal for my Dementia suffering wife. Easy to dress her, she is comfortable wearing them and the modern styling is eye-catching.
shoes fit perfectly and so comfortable having rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis means cannot have my joints repaired but these shoes have made it possible to walk without pain.
Not as comfortable as some I have had but at least they fit and look nice...

I have found the leasther of the uppers stiffer than that of the other colour I bought at the same time and the actual comfort through the day gradually reducing. However, I am certainly able to last out the day without needing to take them off.
Smart comfy casual but dressy shoe.
I usually wear Glossop lace up shoes, I have all colours but wanted a smarter looking shoe. This fitted the bill perfectly.
Over the last 2 years, I have both knees with bad arthritus. Due to this I am not walking as much, so my feet and ankles have swollen. I hated having to admit this, as I love wear ballet shoes... but these shoes are comfortable and supportive
My wife has dementia and also swollen feet. These shoes fit well and, most importantly, are very easy to put on and take off. The removable insoles should be useful, if her feet swell any more. It's too early to comment on how well the shoes wear.

I had bought the shoes but had to return it as it was very uncomfortable as the stitching at the front third of the shoe was digging not the benign on my rt foot and was very uncomfortable. the shoe has a very nice design though and would have beed suitable if it had not had this issue for me.
These shoes were for my mother in law who has pronounced bunions and needed a very wide shoe for winter. She tells me they are comfortable and fit well; very well made and supportive for walking
Bought for my 97 year old mother who has one swollen ankle. The Velcro straps are a good size and even come with extensions so it is possible to get a good fit on both feet. The measurement chart was excellent and resulted in me ordering the correct size.
Sides flaps of shoe closure do not close together enough to stop the tongue of the shoe from bulging out if the wearer has a very high swollen instep. Only apparent after walking a few steps outside so I was unable to return. Other than this issue they are a good shoe.

Having rec'd the shoes'it became apparent that they were much to wide but upon looking at them, we took them to a local cobbler who stitched up 2" on both shoes, they now fit perfectly for the cost of £5 I thought it better than sending them back. But I was not pleased when I rec'd your sale broucher to see that see thery were half price to what I paid for them.
I shattered my ankle in September. Your shoe has been the only one I've been able to wear - not all the time, as my right foot still swells up a lot. Even though the left shoe is big it can be adjusted to be comfortable. I'm looking forward to being able to wear them both all day. This shoe is expensive and I was disappointed to see the sale reduction very soon after Id purchased mine.
I have always been pleased with the quality of DB shoes, but these were without doubt the most disappointing shoes I have ever bought from you. I kept them because I needed new shoes. The leather is thin, stiff and harder than usual and although I had removed both inner soles to accommodate my orthotics my sore toes were rubbed by the lack of height of the toe of the shoes. I was also taken in by the description of the shoes, which stressed that the edge of the shoe was well padded along the ankle - yes it was - but the heel edge was not padded and it rubbed badly.

These are the best shoes I've ever bought. I can wear them even when my feet swell. They are comfortable and sturdy, easy to fasten with the velcro straps. I love them.
Although I like the shoe very much and according to the measuring guide this is the shoe size I was to order - like another customer I feel the tounge could be wider as these shoes are for people whose feet may spread as the day goes on, as they only just fit and sometimes pull out and do not look very nice. These also catch on the bunion first time I have been a little unhyappy with my purchase may need to choose another style.
I bought these for my 92 year old father who has limited mobility. He loves them. They are smart, lightweight and very comfortable made of very soft leather. The three-way front opening and different insoles allow for his high instep and swollen feet and he can manage to put them on and take them off by himself. The shoes arrived the following day. Good value for money for a very good quality product.
These shoes are very comfortable and amazing value for money as they come in different fits and colours! They are easily extendable to make them fit better. DB Shoes are the best with a wide range of colours, nice soft leather and very well made.

This is the second order we have made for my mother who has very swollen misshapen feet because of arthritis. They fit beautifully and she finds them very comfortable. If you follow the measuring guide before you order, they do not disappoint. They are a little pricey but worth it to know your feet will be cosy compared to high street shoes.
You staff was extremely helpful when I calked. I returned the product without problem and the exchanged item is very good according to my mum who is wearing it.
Beautiful soft leather . The only down side is the hard support surrounding the heel. It is difficult to soften. I know it is for extra support, but my feet are so tender to the touch I find it a little uncomfortable. Otherwise excellent.
I wonder if the tongue could have been made wider? Due to the width I required there seemed to be a gap either side of the tongue revealing a little of my instep on both sides. But over all this was a minor problem.
My mum's right foot only just fits, distorting the tongue of the shoe, even using extension.I have seen much more swollen feet than hers so feel there should be a deeper option available.
sorry late replying...have been in hospital.....back to normal now..thankyou for contacting me i am very pleased with my new shoes they are vry comfortable, smart and excellent quality. now looking for a lighter weight pair for summer.
tho only comment i would like to make re orlando shoe is the tongue part of shoe kept coming up and out from under the strap fastener and i have stitched on a piece of velcro to th e upper tongue which then adheres to the under strap velcro already on the strap. now it all keeps in place.. hope you will understand what i mean!

Smart shoe that can be worn with trousers or tights and a skirt. I have very wide feet but no foot abnormalities and although I need a 6(V) fitting for width I do find that this size is rather too deep at the ankle. However, to find shoes that are smart and wide enough is wonderful!
I ordered the Orlando because I am recovering from a foot operation & can not wear my normal shoe's, I love the colour & the style, they are very well made.
