I had tried for many months to get either shoes or boots to fit me. Due to a problem I have, one of my feet and that ankle are terribly swollen Even going up a size I couldn't get anything to fit. A couple of months ago I spoke to a lovely lady at D B - she chatted to me for about 20 minutes asking my measurements etc. She then suggested 2 pairs of boots for me to try - she was so helpful I would advise anyone with problem feet to ring and ask for help. One pair 'The Crawley' fit me perfectly after all the months of trying. The laces can be set to individual feet then you use the side zip each time you take them on and off. I have real difficulty getting nice boots and shoes, unless I have them made through the hospital.
When I found this company on line I was really hopeful, they could provide me with boots that would be wide enough, but more importantly would have better access, that's the key, being able to open the shoes up to actually get my foot into them.
I ordered the Crawley boot, and to say I am thrilled is an understatement, I finally have a pair of ankle boots that not only fit, and I can get my foot in, but also make my feet look, ordinary, which is a great thing, they don't stand out as different , they now look stylish, but still retain comfort. I was marooned in my house as unable to flex my swollen arthritic left foot into any shoes. I was apprehensive of purchasing a purple pair of boots, but options at size 3 were limited. I was delighted when I managed to get the boot on and off my foot. The colour was lovely. Unlike other adverts, these boots were in reality very wide. My only problem is that they are very large on my right foot. Obviously, no remedy for this unless it was possible to buy different widths for the left and right foot.Then I would purchase all four colours. Thank you so much

I loved the Rochefort boots but was always wishing they had a more grippy sole for winter and wet weather. Crawley has the sole I was looking for! These are really roomy boots, I'm a 6E width fit and with these I can wear thick socks and still have plenty of wiggle room. I feel they might be too wide for a lot of people. I've taken one star off for 'performing in wear' because the upper-to-sole join looks a little weak in one place, as if it might come apart sooner than expected. Hope not, as overall I think they are great.

I ordered size 6 but it's big as size 7 in terms of length. It’s perfectly deep and wide. It feels very bulky and heavy and the shoe laces are not good material as it keeps coming off in under few minutes. Have to keep tying again and again it’s very annoying and now I don’t wear these shoes anymore, I only wore them one day and I don’t enjoy wearing them at all. Can’t return it because I don’t have original packaging and it’s been a few days. It’s a shame to be have wasted my money for such shoes. It’s overpriced.

I ordered these to accomodate a customer orthotic as I needed the depth but as my feet are not wide the fit could of course be better particularly around the heel/achilles which are very slim. It is unfortunate that there is nothing for slim-normal feet with extra depth, surely I am not unique?
They look fine, reasonable quality. The fake fur started to rub off within a few days so I will probably remove it. The price in the sale mad them a good deal for something I hope will be a short term requirement.

I love my new boots. They are really snug and comfortable. A nice thick sole with good tread for those icy and snowy days. Lovely fur lining round the ankles keeps your feet lovely and warm. Nice and comfortable and although they lace up, they also have a zip which is fab! You get the laces just right, double knot them and then just use the easy zip to get them on and off. I love them!!
